Paint correction is a term that is now commonly used by both professional car detailers and car cleaning enthusiasts worldwide to describe the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of a vehicle, mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections, that dull, oxidize, or haze the surface by reflecting light off in various directions, therefore detracting from a true and proper, clean, sharp, reflection. These imperfections include things like swirl marks & fine scratches, bird dropping etching & acid rain etching, holograms & buffer trails, and random isolated deep scratches.
Paint correction starts at $300 and up for cars, $400 for mid size SUV/Truck, $450 for full size SUV/Truck.
The paint will be evaluated to determine which process will benefit you the most, some paint will require a 2 step process.
A Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior surfaces of the vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s paint, creating a layer of protection that lasts for years. The coating does not break down with washes, unlike wax, it does not need to be reapplied every few months. The average lifespan of a coating is 2-5 years depending on layers of application. The paint is first completely decontaminated, polished, cleaned again, and then the coating is applied.
